DURING A ROUND:

Equipment – you must only use your equipment.

Pins – there is a foam insert to stop your ball fully dropping. You must not handle the pin. You may centre the pin in a safe manner which does not involve using your hand, even when wearing a glove, or using a towel (for example by using a club). Centering the pin is allowed while another player putts.

Balls – you should not lift stray balls.

Bunkers – bunkers are in play. Smooth sand with your foot or club after your shot.

Social Distancing – you must remain at least 2 metres away from others not in your household. Keep a good distance between groups. Be aware of others using public footpaths.

AFTER THE ROUND:

Shaking Hands – do not shake hands.

These rules will ease, but the Committee will be careful making changes. Having been allowed to return to golf, let’s not be responsible for having the privilege withdrawn. This is a “new normal”, but it will not last forever.

Enjoy your golf.

The Committee
